Houston Chapter of ONS (HCONS) helps to bring the ONS Vision and Mission to members on the local level through educational opportunities and nurse-to-nurse networking. Dual membership in both national and local organizations provides for interlacing information, resources and peer support to transform cancer care at the local level.
ONS chapter provides a means for developing leadership
skills and for developing a political awareness regarding issues affecting the
quality of care on both the local and national levels, the profession of nursing
and the specialty of oncology care.
